Rayakan Milad, FITK Luncurkan Himpunan Sarjana PAI dan PBA

Auditorium Utama, UIN Online – Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) UIN Jakarta genap berusia lima puluh tiga tahun. Perayaan milad fakultas yang berdiri tahun 1957 silam ini diisi sejumlah acara, salah satunya Launching Himpunan Sarjana Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) se-Indonesia yang gelar di Auditorium Harun Nasution, Sabtu (5/6).
Peresmian atau launching Himpunan Sarjana Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) se-Indonesia dilakukan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Dr Ahmad Thib Raya. Ketika memukul gong sebagai tanda peluncuran, Thib didampingi Dekan FITK Prof Dr Dede Rosyada, Rektor Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Bandung sekaligus Ketua Umum ISPI, Prof Dr Sunaryo Kartadinata, dan Tim Pendidikan Karakter Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional (Kemendiknas) Prof Dr Udin Saripudin Winataputra.
Selain diisi peluncuran himpunan sarjana, pada kesempatan yang sama FITK juga menggelar seminar dan me-launching buku dan sejumlah karya ilmiah yang berjumlah 150 eksemplar buku. Buku-buku tersebut merupakan tulisan para dosen FITK baik secara individual maupun kelompok.
Saat membuka seminar Thib Raya mengatakan, pendidikan karakter belakangan ini umumnya diposisikan sebagai “jalan keluar” bagi berbagai krisis moral yang sedang melanda bangsa Indonesia.
Ia menambahkan, pendidikan tanpa karakter hanya akan membuat individu tumbuh secara parsial, menjadi sosok yang cerdas dan pandai, namun kurang memiliki pertumbuhan secara lebih penuh sebagai manusia
“Kita berharap para mahasiswa, dosen, dan civitas akademis terbiasa membangun kegiatan keseharian yang memang mencerminkan perwujudan nilai akhlak al-karimah, sehingga dapat menjadi uswah ditengah-tengah masyarakat dan dapat mencegah perilaku yang tidak bermoral, perilaku intoleran, penegakan hukum yang tidak adil, dan sebagainya,” tambahnya.
