ISPI Humbang Hasundutan Gelar Seminar Pendidikan Internasional

Doloksanggul – Ikatan Sarjana Pendidikan Indonesia (ISPI) Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan, menggelar Seminar Pendidikan Internasional, Selasa (17/5) di Aula Huta Mas Doloksanggul.
Sejumlah kalangan akademisi, baik dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, hadir sebagai pembicara pada seminar itu. Di antaranya, Mr Jonton Colson dari Amerika Serikat, Sonya Romano dari Philipina, Prof DR Berferick Manullang, Prof DR Yusnadi MS, Prof DR Sumarsih MPd, dan Prof DR Khairil Ansyari MPd dari Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED).
Pada gelaran seminar tersebut, pihak panitia, mengangkat topik peningkatan kualitas tenaga pendidik melalui pendidikan yang berkarakter dan berkualitas.
Ketua ISPI Humbahas, Pardomuan Manullang MPd, kepada wartawan Rabu (18/5) saat ditemui di ruang kerjanya, Dinas Pendidikan Humbahas mengatakan, tujuan seminar itu untuk membantu meningkatkan profesionalisme sistem pendidikan dan pengajaran dari para tenaga pendidik maupun peran serta orangtua terhadap anak.
”Tujuan utama kita itu. Yang jelas, ISPI akan terus melakukan berbagai kegiatan-kegiatan lagi ke depan. Bukan hanya seminar itu. Program kita ke depan, di antaranya kegiatan pelatihan guru, diskusi ilmiah, penelitian pendidikan serta kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang inovatif,” ujar Pardomuan Manullang MPd.
Sebelumnya, narasumber seminar, Jonton Colson dari Amerika Serikat menjelaskan bagimana sistem pendidikan dan pengajaran yang berkarakteristik dan profesional, guna mencapai target pelajar yang mampu berkompetisi. Sedangkan narasumber lainnya, memaparkan bagaimana metode pembelajaran maupun pendekatan tenaga pengajar terhadap murid atau mahasiswa.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Humbahas, Drs Wisler Sianturi yang hadir pada acara tersebut, menyambut baik serta mendukung adanya kegiatan itu.
”Dalam hal upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di kabupaten ini, peran serta seluruh lapisan masyarakat sangat kita harapkan. Sebab, untuk mencapai realisasi pendidikan yang bermutu, bukan hanya tanggungjawab pemerintah semata. Melainkan tanggungjawab kita bersama,” tutur Wisler Sianturi.
Hadir dalam acara itu, Ketua Panitia Seminar Idapola Sihombing MPd, Sekretaris Panitia Benjamin Nababan,SPd MHum, Sekretaris ISPI Humbahas Adrianus Mahulae MPd, para kepala sekolah se-Humbahas, kalangan mahasiswa, serta undangan lainnya.(Metro/hsl/des)
