Bupati Lahat H. Saifudin Aswari Riva’I, SE menerima penganugerahan oleh Ikatan Sarjana Pendidikan Indonesia (ISPI) Kabupaten Lahat sebagai tokoh dari pemerintahan yang peduli dengan pendidikan dan lingkungan, dalam acara Malam Finalis Lomba Jurnalis, Fotografi, dan Film Pendek Pelajar dan Penganugerahan ISPI Education Award Tahun 2011 di pendopoan rumah dinas Bupati Kabupaten Lahat, sabtu (2/4) malam.
Dewan Pembina ISPI Lahat Sri Marhaeni Wulansih, S.H. mengatakan, pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak, meskipun Negara mendapatkan amanah untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan.
“Pendidikan itu sangat komplek, menantang, dan mulia. Pendidikan factor penentu kemjuan bangsa, maka itu dibutuhkan partisipasi dari masyarakat, BUMN, ataupun swasta sehingga masyarakat pun terbantu” ujarnya.
Menurut Sri Marhaeni Wulansih, SH, hal tersebut sesuai dengan tiga ciri pendidikan, yaitu pendidikan memiliki spektrum yang sangat luas dan kompleks, pendidikan juga dunia yang sangat menantang karena menjadi faktor penentu kemajuan bangsa.
“Selain itu, dunia pendidikan sangat mulia. Sebab, lewat pendidikanlah proses pemanusiaan manusia dilangsungkan,” katanya.
Oleh sebab itu, sebagai bentuk apresiasi dan penghargaan sekaligus tanda ucapan terimakasih semua pihak ats kepeduliannya dalam membangun pendidikan, maka ISPI Lahat menyelenggarakan acara seperti ini.
Senada dikatan Ketua Pelaksana Andra Juarsyah, S.Pd, dalam penganugerahan ini ISPI Lahat telah melalui berbagai tahapan untuk mendapatkan nominator ini panitia membentuk tim sebagai penilai terhadap sejumlah perusahaan dan tokoh pemerintah yang masuk dalam nominator ISPI Education Award yang terdiri dari ketua tim penilai, Sri Marhaeni Wulansih, SH, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Lahat Drs, Suhirdin, Organisasi profesi guru terdiri dari PGRI Lahat, Sarekat Guru Lahat, ISPEI Lahat, Forum Guru Madrasah, IKA FKIP UNSRI Lahat, LSM Payung Seganti Setungguan, Tabloid Education Lahat. Selain itu, tidak hanya kategori tokoh pemerintah yang mendapatkan Penganugerahan ISPI Education Award melainkan ada juga kategori perusahaan peduli pendidikan dan lingkungan. Perusahaan yang berhasil menerima penganugerahan ISPI Education Award adalah PT. Bukit Asam tbk.
